Spin On Classical Music – Relaunch

Salzburg, 20 January 2023: Today, the Eliette and Herbert von Karajan Institute announces the relaunch of “Spin On Classical Music”, a podcast-styled music show, produced by the Karajan Institute and hosted by Pia Bernauer and Henry Ladewig.

With each episode, the two music enthusiasts present you with a hand-picked playlist around a special topic and entertain you with insights and stories about the music, artists and more. The show was originally started in 2020 during the pandemic to adapt to the new digital reality back in those days and to engage with the global Karajan community as well as with new audiences. New episodes will be available on Spotify every Friday. In episode #1 – “A New Beginning”, Pia and Henry picked six wonderful classical music tracks that either serve strong beginnings or that introduce something new. And as in the past, so in the future: “You don’t need any background in classical music. Just lean back, relax, and listen!” Click here.
